Cuneo, colors and flavours
 biking in south Piedmont, near the mountains

A tour in the province of Cuneo, the largest in Piedmont, where you have the first overnight stop. Cuneo is surrounded by wonderful mountains; don’t miss to visit its characteristic arches, the great, smart piazza Galimberti and the narrow lanes of medieval origin. In the following days you’ll see the ancient village of Caraglio, Dronero with its beatiful bridge on the stream Maira; we recommend a visit to the protected area called "I ciciu del Vilar", a sort of big stone-made mushrooms. Follows then the beautiful Saluzzo, medieval town on a hill, well known for the antique trade, in the past capital of an important marquisate. In Racconigi you can see one of the most important royal residences in Piedmont surrounded by a nice park. After two more memorable, pleasant stop in Bra and Cherasco, both renowned for their exquisite cuisine and wines, you come to Fossano, small town on a hill with a good viewpoint on the Valley of Stura river; after a stop in the main square with the imposant Acaja castle, your route leads you towards Crava Morozzo, protected area rich of aquatic birds. Then you come back to Cuneo again.

Hills, vineyards and the pleasures of the table
 biking in Langhe and Monferrato

We start from Torino , beautiful town, regal and enigmatic at the same time. With a short transfer we cycle in the interesting area of the Fluvial Park of the Po (the most important italian river) and later along the wonderful “Panoramica del Monferrato” up to Casale, one of the most interesting art cities of the Piemont where is already possible to have proof of the exquisite local eno-gastronomy. In the two following days you always cycle up and down on the charming hills of the Monferrato. We’ll make a stop in Asti , chief town very rich of story, then in Moncalvo, old village in a wonderful position, in Guarene with its castle and so we already are in the Roero, primitive country moulded by erosions. Afterwards we reach the medioeval Alba, the town well known for its “fiera del tartufo” (wolrd-famous fair in October where it is possible to taste the exquisite gastronomic specialities based on local product and above all truffles) and for its great wines. Alba is the capital of the “Langhe”, territory with a big fascination: you will remember the gentle hills, the rows of wines, the solitary cottages in sandstone and the fragrance of the sea that you can already taste cycling  among the hills. We’ll go on along the panoramic road Benevello-Murazzano and reach the pretty Benevagienna with its archeologic roman site. Last but not least our tour ends with the visit to the historic Cherasco and above all to Bra”  where we can give oneself up again, for the last time, to the pleasures of the table.
